The job
An excellent opportunity exists for a
Prosecutions Assistant Lawyer
to join a small team of lawyers within the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The role will involve handling a varied caseload, providing legal advice and support to the Lawyer and Senior Lawyer.
Greenwich Legal Services is committed to being a high performing in-house legal service which plays an essential part in the achievement of the Royal Borough's priorities and objectives for the benefit of our community. This role sits within the wider Housing and Litigation team.
Utilising skills and experience gained within a similar position, you will report to the Senior Lawyer and work with the Lawyer, assisting them with caseloads covering a range of prosecution and litigation matters.
You must be a qualified solicitor or barrister holding a current practising certificate, or CiLex/ equivalent experience. We would consider newly qualified applicants who demonstrate that they have relevant experience in local government and a keen interest in prosecution law.
