Job Description
This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant (AMA) to join a thriving organisation on a temporary basis in Leatherhead. The role involves supporting the accounting & finance department with key financial tasks and reporting.
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
- Inter-company recharges at month end
- Support the reconciliation of balance sheets and bank accounts.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather financial data for reporting purposes.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance, identifying any variances.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assist in preparing financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
- Provide general support to the accounting & finance department as required.
A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:
- A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the property industry.
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills.
- An understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team in Leatherhead.
- Competitive daily rate of approximately 145 to 180 GBP.
