About the role
Are you looking to kick-start your career in management accounting? We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and curious individual to join our Management Accounts team. This is a great chance to gain hands-on experience in financial planning and analysis. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities
Reporting to a Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and assisting with crucial financial tasks. Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Assisting with budgeting, business plans, and monthly forecasting.
• Posting journals, accruals, and prepayments, and reconciling the corresponding balance sheet codes.
• Monitoring internal controls and identifying opportunities to challenge business and finance assumptions.
• Producing and distributing monthly reports
• Commentary on variances to Budget and to the last forecast .
• Maintaining the Chart of Accounts and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations.

Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to present information clearly and concisely.
• The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the willingness to further develop your skills.
• Good analytical skills with the ability to work with large amounts of data.
• A commitment to department goals and a desire to support your team members.
• Receptive to new ideas and adaptable to different situations and working styles.
