Salary: 35,000 - 38,000 Per Annum (Plus benefits)
Orka Financial is working with a client based in around Heathrow who are a leading global provider of air cargo logistics to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant. You will be part of a progressive finance team working within a fast paced business, working closely with the Management Accountant. This is a varied role, where you will be producing financial analysis and partnering with the management & financial accountants along with other areas in the business.



Key responsibilities:


Assisting with fixed assets management and capital purchases/leasing. Assisting with the preparation of accruals. Assisting with the preparation of prepayments. Intercompany accounting. Other overheads analysis. Assist with purchase ledger invoices entries. Assist with sales ledger invoices entries. Bank reconciliations and allocations of receipts. Balance Sheet reconciliations. Posting journals. You will assist in identifying process improvements and seek system enhancements to improve efficiencies.


Key Skills:

Actively studying towards a suitable Accounting Qualification (CIMA, ACCA) Over 15+ months experience of working in a busy Finance team Hold an accounting degree (preferable) Must possess previous accounting experience and exposure to month end within a corporate environment. Must possess strong excel skills including vlookups, pivot tables and basic powerpoint skills.
