Job Description

We're looking for a proactive and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join a slim, high-performing finance team in a busy business. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility, perfect for someone who wants ownership of reporting and analysis.

You will be responsible for month-end support, management reporting, and data analysis, helping turn numbers into actionable insights for the business. There's also scope to identify process improvements and contribute to the continuous development of the finance function.

Key Responsibilities

Support month-end close and reporting processes Prepare management accounts and variance analysis Maintain reporting schedules and KPIs for operational teams Develop and streamline reports to improve accuracy and efficiency Assist with journals, accruals, prepayments, and stock valuations Work closely with the team to provide insight and analysis

About You

Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting) Exposure to management reporting, analysis, or BI tools Studying or qualified (AAT) Comfortable in a lean finance team with high levels of ownership Forward-thinking, with a desire to improve processes and reports

What We Offer

Salary up to 35,000 depending on experience 5 days in the office Study support Opportunity to develop in a high-responsibility role
