Overview
: The Junior Management Accountant will support the Senior Management Accountant and Management Accountant to ensure the financial integrity of the transactions in SAP Business One, Xero and Fidelo.
The working hours for this role open a standard 37.5 hours with additional hours where required by the business.
1. Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring the supplier ledger is accurate and up to date at all times
Coding and posting purchase ledger invoices
Responsible for obtaining authorisations of invoices in line with matrix
Ensuring all processes and controls are adhered to in relation to duties
Maintain good working relationships with suppliers, projecting a professional image of Company at all times
Assist in making sure that all revenue information in Fidelo is reflected in SAP business one/Xero. This includes invoicing commissions and any other data that is required monthly.
Assist in the preparation and timely completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations.
Supporting the reconciliation of sales and purchase ledgers.
Supporting the preparation of month-end journals, such as payroll, accruals, and prepayments.
Supporting the management of the fixed asset register in line with company policy and processing monthly fixed asset depreciation.
Other duties as required to support the preparation of timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
Any reasonable duties associated with the role.
2. Internal Communications
Provide support to all teams across BSC as required, keeping the teams regularly updated on pertinent information
Maintain a sufficient product knowledge of BSC's portfolio of products to best understand how the role supports the needs of the Commercial and Operational Teams
Job Skills
Specific Role Requirements
Minimum of 1 year prior experience
Desired Experience/Skills:
Process improvement experience
Experience of SAP, Sage, Xero and Fidelo
Undertaking or willing to undertake study of either ACCA, ACA or CIMA
Intermediate Excel skills (V-Look Ups & Pivots).
