Assistant Management Accountant

to support our Finance Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain exposure across a variety of financial processes, supporting the Management Accountant with monthly accounts, reconciliations, analysis and reporting.


The Role - Key Responsibilities


Prepare and post monthly depot and dairy stock valuations on Sage Process monthly accruals including payroll, packaging, milk, cream and fleet costs Complete fuel account reconciliations and fleet accruals Assist in preparation of depot accounts; investigate and resolve variances Support the production of monthly management accounts and maintain key files Reconcile MTD data and sales analysis using Excel Assist in financial performance analysis and purchase ledger postings Maintain records to support annual audit and tax analysis Assist with year-end stocktaking and BACS postings
About You - Skills & Experience


Part-qualified CIMA/ACCA or AAT qualified - desirable Previous management accounts or ledger experience required Strong numeracy, attention to detail and analytical skills Proactive, inquisitive and able to demonstrate initiative Excellent time management, able to meet deadlines and multitask effectively Strong Excel and IT skills; experience with Sage 200 an advantage A collaborative team player, willing to support colleagues across Finance and other departments
