Job Purpose:



To manage the day-to-day transactions of the Finance department. To assist the Financial Controller and support the team in delivering accurate and timely financial information, including assisting with the monthly management accounts and financial analysis.

Core Duties:



1. Management of daily banking and reconciliation

2. Managing customer sales invoicing/sales review & reconciliation - generate invoices, email invoices to customers, update ledgers.

3. Managing invoice discounting portal- invoices/CN upload/withdrawing funds/posting customer receipts.

4. Update AIG portal by uploading weekly report and reviewing customer credit limits.

5. Assist in issuing Pro-Forma invoices and reconciliation.

6. Raise and issue recharge invoices accurately and in a timely manner to external clients

7. Reconciling recharges accounts.

8. Assist in posting contra entries.

9. Manging Coupa Portal (Waitrose supplier portal).

10. Assist with Monthly Payroll including timecards reconciliation and dealing with queries.

11. Monthly pension submissions.

12. Manage and maintain the register of healthcare provider (Bupa).

13. Assist in maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts, including accruals and prepayments.

14. Process journals and assist with month-end and year-end procedures.

15. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis.

16. Assist in the implementation and testing of the new finance system (DocuWare).

17. Assist with the annual audit preparation.

18. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.

19. Work with colleagues across departments to support the delivery of the organisation's strategic and operational goals..

20. Assist with all financial accounting tasks when required .

HR



21. Keeping personnel files up to date including master spreadsheets.

22. Managing T&A system including error checking and correction.

23. Training Managers in the T&A system when relevant.

Key Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:



Essential:

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Strong Excel and accounting software skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written, both internal and external.

The ability to multi-task and prioritise workload effectively.

Able to appreciate the need for confidentiality and discretion.

Flexible and adaptable.

A strong team player.

AAT qualified or studying towards ACCA qualification.

Salary



30-34k depending on level of experience of working in a Finance role.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 28,000.00-34,000.00 per year
