The Role



We are looking for a dedicated and career focused individual to join our Finance team in the role of Trainee Assistant Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking for a career and company in which they can grow and progress. We pride ourselves with on the job training and can also offer study support for AAT/CIMA/ACCA.

Overtime your Main Duties and Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



Assisting with the Monthly P&L preparation and interrogation Assisting with Month-end duties including, stock analysis, fixed assets, journals, accruals and prepayments. Assisting with the preparation of the management accounts and annual budget processes. Assisting with ensuring that all financial controls are in place and making sure all accounts are audit proof. Assisting with variance analysis and completing various weekly / month end reports. Supporting month end closure by ensuring correct cut offs are observed / implemented including Balance sheet reconciliations. Assisting with the support of the annual accounts audit. Supporting monthly bank and ledger reconciliations. Providing support to Weekly Payroll Liaising with other business departments and supporting KPI analysis

The Candidate



The successful candidate should fit the following criteria:-

Confident with Excel (including pivot tables and lookups) - Essential Minimum of grade 4 at GCSE Maths - Essential High attention to detail with an analytical approach - Essential Flexible and reliable, highly organized and effective time management skills - Essential A genuine desire to join the companies finance department on a long term, full time basis - Essential Finance experience / qualifications - Desirable

Full-time hours: 37 per week
Monday to Thursday, 8.15am - 4:30pm
Friday 8.30am - 3pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 21,000.00-25,000.00 per year
