We're seeking an

Assistant Management Accountant

to join our forward-thinking Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll support the smooth running of daily accounting functions while playing a key role in developing and refining financial systems and processes across the business.

What You'll Do

Support the development of internal finance processes and controls. Optimise workflows across finance and operational departments. Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, invoice processing, expense claims, payroll data, and HMRC submissions. Assist with management accounts, VAT returns, and year-end accounts. Collaborate on finance systems development and change management initiatives. Work with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and data analysis.

What We're Looking For

AAT qualified or working towards or equivalent accounting certification. Experience as an Assistant Management Accountant or Finance Assistant in a fast-paced or high-growth environment. Strong knowledge of finance systems such as QBO and reporting tools like Excel (Power BI a bonus). An analytical thinker with excellent attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement. A confident communicator who can build relationships across teams. Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and keen to progress into a senior finance role.
