About the Role



We are currently recruiting for an

Assistant Management Accountant

to join our Finance Team based in Oldbury. This role is ideal for a

part-qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant (or QBE)

who is looking to build strong management accounting experience within a fast-growing, multi-entity business.

You will support the preparation of month-end management accounts across multiple group entities, while also assisting the transactional finance team during busy periods. The role offers excellent exposure to a broad range of accounting areas and a clear development pathway towards a Management Accountant position.

Key Responsibilities



Produce and review accounts up to

trial balance

stage Assist with month-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely reporting Prepare and post month-end journals, including

accruals, prepayments and recharges

Support the production of monthly management accounts and

variance analysis

Prepare and maintain

balance sheet reconciliations

, resolving issues in a timely manner Update and develop

management reporting packs

, progressing towards ownership for assigned areas Produce

VAT returns

across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations Assist in the preparation and maintenance of

group cashflow forecasts

Produce and oversee reporting to

banks and finance providers

(e.g. invoice discounting facilities) Support the transactional finance team during peak periods Complete

Office for National Statistics (ONS)

submissions and other external surveys

About You



Essential



Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role or similar Experience producing accounts up to trial balance Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA (actively studying) or qualified by experience Strong Excel skills and excellent attention to detail Analytical mindset with the ability to provide insight and interpretation of financial data Ambition to progress and develop within a growing business

Desirable



Experience within a manufacturing and/or SME environment Exposure to stock-based management accounting Experience using

SAP Business One

Exposure to audits and statutory reporting processes
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
