We are committed to providing an inclusive, working environment to support our diverse team of employees, we currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to join our busy finance team based at our Hindley office.

Main Duties and Responsibilities;



Assist with management accounts preparation and reporting for review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Analyse management information to identify key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities. Maintain control and accuracy of accounting for prepayments, accruals, and intercompany transactions. Maintain accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Complete finance reviews of expenses and bank reconciliations. Support the year-end audit process. Respond to stakeholder queries and provide clear, insightful financial analysis. Undertake other ad-hoc duties appropriate to the role.

Experience & Qualifications;



AAT qualified or working towards a professional qualification (ACCA / CIMA). Experienced in an accounting or finance environment. Strong Excel skills (advanced formulas, lookups, pivot tables). Knowledge of accounting software packages (e.g. Sage, Xero, Dynamics, or equivalent). Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy and self-review. Highly numerate, analytical, and organised, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proactive and enthusiastic approach, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Alongside your work, you'll receive professional training and study support towards the

Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)

qualification, enabling you to develop a full understanding of the technical and advisory aspects of accountancy.
