Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (12-months)

Package: \xc2\xa328,000 to \xc2\xa331,000 per annum + annual company bonus
Working: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Hybrid - Winnersh Triangle, Berkshire RG41 / Home


Working for the Advantage Smollan Group, the Assistant Management Accountant will help with the preparation of management accounts.


You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting with month end reporting and processing
  • Manage customer reconciliations and related processing including cost plus reconciliations
  • Process monthly and ad hoc journals including prepayments, deferred income, WIP, payroll, etc.
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Work with the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable team on intercompany invoicing
  • Monthly imports into our Group Reporting system (BPC)
  • Respond to ONS surveys
  • Any ad hoc tasks as required

You will have:
  • Management Accounting experience
  • Experience of being involved in a month end processes
  • Strong Excel skills (use of pivot tables, v-look ups, etc.)
  • The ability to adapt style of communication where necessary
  • Strong timekeeping and task prioritizing skills
  • Experience in a fast paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Studying towards a qualification e.g. ACCA, CIMA would be advantageous
