A leading accountancy practice is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join their Business Services & Outsourcing team in Ipswich. Role Responsibilities
Be the day-to-day contact for your allocated portfolio.
Plan delivery of work on your own portfolio and prepare high-quality files for manager review.
Liaise with client to resolve queries before submitting accounts to manager for review.
Manage the work of more junior team members on your portfolio, including briefings and monitoring of performance to ensure completion of the job.
Provide ad-hoc accounting assistance.
Complete the client-take-on procedures for new clients, to include preparing engagement letters for manager and partner review
Attend year-end client meetings with the Partner/Manager to develop client relationships.
Personal Requirements
ACCA/ ACA Qualified or equivalent experience.
Accountancy practice experience required.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel.
Excellent knowledge of accounting packages including Xero, IRIS and Sage.
