Responsibilities
Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment
Engage in food preparation and cooking as needed to support the team during peak times
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all kitchen processes
Collaborate with management to develop menus and enhance food production efficiency
Provide training and guidance to new employees on culinary techniques and hospitality standards
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and care
Ensure that all equipment is maintained in good working order and report any issues promptly
Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality sector
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development
Previous experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills or hotel experience is advantageous
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
A passion for providing outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment
