We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the store Manager with daily operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the retail industry, with a focus on customer service and team management. This role requires a hands-on approach to supervising staff, and delivering exceptional service to our Customers. Duties
Delivering excellent Customer service
Staff training: service, sales and theft Prevention
Rotas- store to be covered effectively
Payroll- to keep track of hours, sickness, lateness
Holidays- to be managing effectively so store is covered. To ensure holidays
are taken throughout the year and not left to build up
Monitoring staff: regular appraisals to address any concerns
Encouraging, motivating team with service and sales

Requirements
Previous experience in a managerial role within the retail industry is essential.
Proven ability to supervise and motivate a diverse team effectively.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
