Hello future Boardwalk Assistant Manager! :)

Are you a SUPERVISOR with coffee experience OR (and!) a HEAD BARISTA looking for a new role? Perhaps you're an ASSISTANT MANAGER or MANAGER already, seeking a fresh opportunity? If so, we are looking for you! Due to the opening of our new Boardwalk Social in Donaghadee, we're excited to expand our team. To give you the lowdown - We are Boardwalk, a small brunch and specialty cafe based in the heart of Bangor, with a new location opening in Donaghadee. We use 3fe as our coffee supplier and a White Eagle for our espresso machine.

Making delicious coffees and ensuring our customers feel at home is what we're all about. Our aim is to put hospitality back into the hospitality industry! While the pace is fast, the vibe is fun, and we live for brunch and love great coffee! The perfect candidate will be great at chatting with customers, presenting each drink with a smile, and bringing positivity to the team while using their own initiative.

This is an opportunity for the right person to grow alongside the business as we have huge growth plans, including our new Boardwalk Social in Donaghadee. You will have the ability to express your creativity, and your ideas may help shape the future of Boardwalk.

What we need from you:

Assist in managing Boardwalk like an absolute pro! Maintain a positive, can-do attitude at all times Support the team to work hard, smile, and keep things clean, even in the manager's absence Learn our stock take and ordering system to ensure we're always stocked with our goodies Have a great set of coffee skills; be able to dial in an espresso machine, steam great milk, and pour beautiful latte art

We expect our opening hours to be 9am-5pm, 7 days a week, with potential changes during busy summer periods. We expect the candidate to be flexible.
