Assistant Manager Job Vacancy - Bar Operations & Marketing
This new role will involve:
Reporting to the Club's general manager
Assisting the management and aided the development of functions and other events, via the events working group.
Leading development of the club's long-term plan, in particular marketing.
The remuneration for this position will be in the region of 15 per hour with a minimum of 18 hours per week, with further hours available. Working days to be discussed further at interview.
Deputising for the duties of the general manager, as required.
Bar supervision and management of staff, in the absence of the general manager.
Daily management of cash on working days.
Daily records of takings and till management on working days.
Facility preparation for events and meetings on working days.
Providing access to relevant contractors / suppliers on working days.
Regular supervision with the bar general manager, as required.
Front of house welcoming.
Assisting with membership recruitment and retention.
Suggestions and discussions with the general manager / events working group / Recreation Club Committee to improve facility revenue, in particular day time function development.
Creation of a marketing strategy to increase awareness of the club.
Management of the club's website and social media platforms.
Understanding and awareness of health and safety.
