Assistant Manager

to help us keep raising the bar.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives on variety, loves hospitality, and wants to be part of a team that delivers incredible food, outstanding service, and truly memorable events. What You'll Be Doing

Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub, kitchen, and event spaces Lead, motivate, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service--whether it's a packed Friday night, a wedding day, or a live music event Help manage staffing, rotas, training, and development to build a strong, confident team Ensure high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and organisation are always maintained Oversee food preparation and service to ensure consistency, quality, and great presentation Be a key presence during events, helping coordinate service and handle any challenges smoothly Engage with customers and resolve issues quickly, keeping the atmosphere friendly and professional Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management Get involved in planning and delivering standout events--from headline bands to themed parties
What We're Looking For

Supervisory or management experience in hospitality, pubs, restaurants, or events Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and service standards A natural leader who leads by example and keeps the team motivated Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations Culinary or hospitality management background (desirable, but not essential) Highly organised, adaptable, and calm under pressure Someone who brings energy, ideas, and a hands-on attitude

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 40 per week
