Assistant Manager

Job Description

Duties:
- Accountable for overseeing daily operations and ensure smooth functioning of the store.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed.
- Train /supervise and manage performance of staff members, providing guidance and support as necessary.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.

Requirements:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff and customers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure situations calmly.
- Flexibility to work weekdays and weekends, and cover holidays and sickness if / when required.

Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. The assistant manager may be required to perform other related duties as assigned by the Area Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week

Education:

GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Experience:

Retail management: 2 years (required) Management: 2 years (required) Retail sales: 2 years (required)
