Role Overview
We're looking for a proactive and personable Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of Annie Maison. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment and enjoys leading a small team, engaging with customers, and helping to shape the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Support the business owner in managing the day-to-day running of the venue
Support and motivate a small front-of-house team to deliver outstanding service
Prepare and manage staff rotas to ensure efficient coverage
Oversee bar and restaurant service, maintaining high standards of presentation and hospitality
Build rapport with customers and ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere
Assist in planning and executing events, including private functions and seasonal promotions
Manage stock levels, place orders, and maintain supplier relationships
Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with hygiene standards
Maintain a clean, organised, and stylish front-of-house environment

Qualifications
Essential: Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or management role
Basic food hygiene certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with staff scheduling and stock management

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and during events
A genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
