Summary



Central Finance is the Finance Partner for the Group and operates at the heart of the finance community providing analysis, insight, strategic direction and control to a range of senior colleagues.




We have a unique opportunity to join our Capital Reporting and Disclosure team on a Fixed Term Contract until 30/11/2026. Our team are responsible for producing the regulatory capital and leverage reporting for the Group's banking entities. Capital and leverage ratios are key metrics in the Group's management information, allowing senior colleagues to make the right decisions for the Group and monitor compliance with regulatory requirements.




This is an exciting chance for a motivated and analytical individual to gain a unique insight into LBG regulatory capital and leverage reporting and also expand their network throughout central and divisional finance teams.

HOURS: Full Time, 35 hours per week



WORKING PATTERN

: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least


two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

Day to day responsibilities



We own the production of regulatory capital and leverage reporting and this is what your day could look like:-


Update calculations and ensuring correct data captured. Liaise with colleagues across the group to resolve any issues you have identified. Prepare and share analysis for review by senior manager and other stakeholders. Investigate queries following senior stakeholder review. Update regulatory reporting templates for submission and external disclosures for publication.
You'll also be involved in:


Producing regulatory capital and leverage metrics for LBG's banking entities. Producing monthly and quarterly regulatory capital reporting and related external disclosures. Developing relationships with key contacts across Finance and Risk. Improving ways of working and processes. Collaborating across the team on activities and initiatives to develop our team culture.

What you'll need



The ability to run detailed processes in a controlled and timely manner.


Good knowledge of Excel and working with financial information.


A Self-starter attitude and comfortable dealing with varied stakeholders.


Intellectual curiosity and analytical ability.


Ability to form positive relationships with team mates and people across the Group.
