Be part of something new! We're opening a brand-new menswear store and are looking for a passionate, style-driven team!

Position Overview:

The Assistant Manager plays a key role in driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining the store's operational excellence. This position supports the Store Manager in leading a motivated team, ensuring brand standards are met, and helping customers find confidence and style through high-quality menswear.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Customer Experience

Lead by example to deliver an exceptional customer experience that reflects the store's brand values. Drive sales performance by engaging with customers, understanding their needs, and offering expert styling and product advice. Support the Store Manager in achieving and exceeding daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.

Team Leadership

Supervise, motivate, and train team members to achieve performance goals. Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure a high standard of customer service. Assist in scheduling, delegation, and managing daily staff activities.

Store Operations

Oversee visual merchandising to ensure the store is presented in line with brand guidelines. Manage stock levels, handle inventory processes, and coordinate with head office on replenishment. Ensure compliance with all store policies, procedures, and loss prevention practices. Support in opening and closing duties, including cash handling and daily reporting.

Brand Representation

Maintain a strong understanding of current menswear trends, fabrics, fits, and tailoring options. Uphold a professional appearance that aligns with the brand's image. Represent the brand positively within the local community and among customers.

Qualifications & Skills:

2+ years of retail experience, preferably in menswear or fashion apparel. 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Passion for menswear, fashion trends, and customer service excellence. Ability to motivate and develop a team. Proficient in POS systems, basic reporting, and Microsoft Office suite. Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
