We're currently looking for a motivated and reliable

Assistant Manager

to support our day-to-day operations and help drive the continued success of the venue.

The Role

As Assistant Manager, you will work closely with the General Manager to ensure smooth daily operations, assist in planning and executing events, and help maintain our high standards of customer service. You'll need to be confident working independently at times, and comfortable stepping into a leadership role when required.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with previous bar or hospitality experience who is looking to take the next step in their career in a more hands-on, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the General Manager with the daily running of the venue Assist with staff supervision, rota management, and training Ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered Help plan, promote, and run events, including live music, quizzes, and beer tastings Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and supplier coordination Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers Open and close the venue when required

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting (assistant management experience preferred) Strong leadership and organisational skills A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A genuine interest in craft beer and independent hospitality Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
