We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations, maintaining food safety standards, and providing exceptional hospitality to our guests.
Responsibilities
Assist the Manager in overseeing daily bar & restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Lead and motivate kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer experiences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Support staff with food preparation and bartending duties as needed, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
Assist in training new staff members on culinary techniques, hospitality practices, and operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a Bar & culinary / restaurant management role is preferred.
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
Experience in bartending is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
