We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the hospitality industry, particularly within restaurants or hotels, and possess exceptional leadership skills. This role involves supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring high standards of food preparation and service, and fostering a positive environment for both staff and customers.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and quality service Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with regulations Oversee inventory management, including food production and stock control Provide leadership and support to team members, fostering a collaborative work environment Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure satisfaction Assist with scheduling staff shifts and managing team performance Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improvement

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality sector, preferably in restaurants or hotels Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices Excellent team management abilities with a focus on leadership and motivation Previous experience as a barista is advantageous but not essential Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff alike A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding service
