We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards in food preparation and hospitality. Duties
Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
Ensure compliance with the Scottish licensing laws and maintain cleanliness FOH.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and improve service offerings.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Support the team in achieving operational goals while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Excellent leadership abilities, capable of motivating and managing a diverse team.
Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food production.
Experience in kitchen operations, including barista skills or hotel experience is advantageous.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for hospitality and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
