Duties

Assist in overseeing daily operations within the restaurant or hospitality setting, ensuring efficient service and adherence to quality standards. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices to enhance team performance. Manage kitchen operations, including food production and safety protocols, to ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and implement culinary innovations that align with customer preferences. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership skills. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a high level of hospitality is maintained at all times. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to support kitchen operations.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food, wine and cocktails. Experience of Social media an added advantage to develop the business. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Previous experience in bar management or barista roles is advantageous. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. A background in serving or hospitality will be beneficial for this position.
