Duties
Assist in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth functioning.
Supervise and manage team members, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
Support food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring adherence to presentation standards.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and service areas.
Coordinate food production activities, including inventory management and stock control.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs promptly and professionally.
Assist in organising staff shifts, training programmes, and team meetings to foster a collaborative work environment.
Support the management team in implementing promotional activities and service improvements.
Uphold high standards of hospitality, ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams effectively.
Experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles is highly desirable.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food service and barista experience is advantageous.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.
Good communication skills and a professional demeanour.
Previous experience in restaurant or hotel environments is preferred.
