We're looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on

Assistant Manager

to join our friendly team at

The Green Man

- a much-loved local pub at the heart of Stallingborough.

As part of

Mettle Pub Co.

, we take pride in running welcoming, community focused pubs where great food, drink, and atmosphere come together.

What you'll do

Support the General Manager in the day-to-day running of the pub. Lead and motivate the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service. Oversee shifts, stock management, cash handling, and opening/closing procedures. Contribute to staff training and development. Help drive sales and maintain high standards across food, drink, and guest experience.
What we're looking for

Previous experience in hospitality, ideally in a supervisory or management role. A natural people-person with strong leadership skills. Organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Someone who's passionate about pubs, food, drink, and great customer service.
