Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations of the restaurant or cafe, ensuring smooth service delivery. Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and customer service. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Oversee food production processes to ensure quality and consistency. Collaborate with the management team to develop menus and special offerings. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues to enhance guest experiences. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership.

Skills

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant sector. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with staff and customers. Previous experience in kitchen operations or barista roles is advantageous. A background in hotel or catering services would be beneficial but not essential.
