As an

Assistant Manager

, you will play a key role supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the shop, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth front-of-house management, and adherence to company policies and UK regulations.

You will also receive full training in gelato production, staff development, and compliance.

This role requires full flexibility in terms of working hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and peak holiday seasons, as these are the busiest times for the business.

PLEASE NOTE:

This position is not available to students as it requires full-time availability and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting & shadowing the Store Manager in all daily operations. Excellent Customer Service & Front-of-House Management Lead by example in providing exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests have a great experience. Manage daily front-of-house operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally. Oversee the till operations, ensuring accuracy in all till transactions. Gelato Production & Quality Control Undergo full training in artisanal gelato production and assist in maintaining quality standards. Ensure all products meet company specifications and food safety regulations. Monitor stock levels and manage inventory to prevent waste and shortages. Staff Training & Leadership Training and mentor team members to uphold company values and service standards all the times. Assist in staff scheduling, ensuring efficient coverage during peak periods. Motivate the team and maintain a positive work environment. Compliance & Business Operations. Ensure strict compliance with UK food safety, health & safety regulations, and company policies. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, meeting legal and internal standards. Support the business in implementing and maintaining procedures that improve efficiency and service quality.

Requirements: Previous Management or leadership in hospitality or food service management is essential.

Full training will be provided in all areas: Front of House, Kitchen, Management & Operations.

Strong leadership & management skills. Willingness of taking on board Feedbacks for business and professional growth. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Full flexibility regarding working hours, including weekends, evenings and summer period. A proactive, problem-solving attitude and excellent communication skills. Willingness to learn and take on responsibilities in customer service, gelato production and staff mangement. Must comply with all UK employment, food safety, and health & safety regulations. Ability of supporting proactively the business growth.
