Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company policies.
Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and serving practices to uphold quality standards.
Maintain high levels of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen and dining areas.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production and presentation.
Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff members.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
Support the Manager in implementing promotional activities and maintaining overall restaurant standards.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential, MINIMUM OF 12 MONTHS
Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required.
Excellent leadership abilities with a proven track record in team management.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with staff and customers.
