Aramark UK is searching for an

Assistant Manager

to supervise service-related activities and line management of the team, sitting within the Education division. This role provides an exciting opportunity to assist the General Manager in the day-to-day running of one of our central London sites.





This role is predominantly Mon-Fri with some evening and weekend work required for hospitality events.

A day in the life of an Assistant Manager:

Lead and support a dynamic team to ensure top service and performance Manage recruitment, training, and development, nurturing future leaders Oversee stock control, audits and compliance with cleanliness and safety standards Handle customer feedback, drive sales and implement marketing initiatives Ensure staff are knowledgeable about menus, promotions and POS systems Take charge of scheduling, payroll and P&L management Step in for the manager when needed Support special events and maintain smooth daily operations

You'll be set up for success if you have:

2-3 years of experiences in contract catering (especially if in a Higher Education setting) Knowledge if applicable Health & Safety legislation Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3 Experience leading and motivating a team Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to work with bespoke software applications A passion to provide outstanding customer service Fresh ideas to inspire and improve the experience
