The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations of the
Vertu Harrods boutique
. This role combines luxury retail sales leadership with operational excellence, ensuring the store delivers against commercial objectives while providing an unparalleled customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Store Manager in day-to-day operations, including staff supervision, rota management, and performance reviews.
Lead by example on the sales floor, driving sales and nurturing client relationships.
Ensure adherence to Harrods' operational standards and compliance requirements.
Train, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve excellence in client service and sales performance.
Support reporting, stock management, and product launches in collaboration with the Phone Surgery operations team.
Handle escalated client queries with discretion and professionalism.
Deputise for the Store Manager when required.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years' supervisory or management experience in luxury retail.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.
Excellent understanding of clienteling and relationship management.
Commercial awareness with proven ability to achieve sales targets.
Organised, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
