We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Assist in supervising staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management to foster a motivated and professional team.
Support food preparation and cooking activities, maintaining high standards of quality and portions.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety policies across all areas of the establishment.
Manage food production processes, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
Handle customer enquiries or complaints promptly and professionally to uphold the organisation's reputation.
Contribute to creating a welcoming hospitality environment that encourages repeat business.
Skills
Proven experience in supervising teams within a takeaways, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage staff effectively.
Sound understanding of food production processes and kitchen operations.
Experience in serving customers with professionalism and courtesy.
Familiarity with hospitality industry standards, including barista experience or bar service is advantageous.
Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under pressure.
