Here, amongst towering dinosaur skeletons, glittering gems, and ancient artefacts, we turn moments of wonder into lasting memories. And now, we're looking for an Assistant Manager to join our team and help lead the way.

Your Mission:

As Assistant Manager, you'll support the Retail Manager in leading a dynamic, high-performing team right at the heart of one of the UK's most visited and beloved museums. Whether it's guiding guests through our photo experience, helping the team meet targets, or ensuring operations glide as smoothly as Hope the blue whale does through Hintze Hall, you'll play a key role in every part of our daily adventure.

Your Responsibilities:

Recruiting, training, and developing team members who bring joy to every guest interaction. Being an on-site ambassador for Magic Memories and fostering strong partnerships with museum staff. Managing weekly team rotas and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Driving daily sales and team targets to exceed expectations. Supporting stock management, financial reporting, and labour forecasting. Leading regular one-to-one check-ins and team reviews. Opening and closing the site, including cashing up and reporting.

What You Bring to the Exhibit:

2+ years of experience in an assistant manager role. A passion for creating standout guest experiences. Target-driven focus with a strong commercial awareness. Enthusiastic leadership with the ability to motivate a team in a fast-paced, high-footfall environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility, resilience, and a positive, can-do mindset.
