Stand by rota 1 in 10 day about, but subject to change depending on business needs / requirements
As a part of your progression and development, you may be included in the Incident Management structure by being added to either the Pollution and Internal Flooding rota or the Field Event Coordinator rota - which will be determined by your Field Performance Manager.
The Assistant Manager will be responsible for the effective running of the team in the absence of the FPM as they will deputise for leave and delegated requirements, meeting performance continuity for an operational area and role succession.
To be responsible and accountable for the completion of HSSW and EMS, FRA and site safety inspections and their resultant actions on SW Water sites according to SW guidelines, to ensure safe and compliant operation and maintenance of all assets within a specific geographical area.
To work with the team to support high standards of employee engagement and consultation with internal stakeholders. Proactively monitoring and escalating on performance shortfalls and implementing strategic improvement initiatives through advice and coaching.
The Assistant manager will undertake site audits to ensure compliance with Operator round expectations, area standard, site cleanliness and performance, as such the Assistant Manager will demonstrate a strong technical and operational background, a focus on Health and Safety risk and Environmental impact, together with a collaborative approach and clear drive for continuous improvement.
Of course, there is more to the role that you will be involved in e.g. dealing with Hazards, contractors, customers and other stakeholders.
