We are open 7 days a week, (every other) weekend working will be required but with no split shifts.
You will be responsible for the day to day management and running of our busy cafe, ensuring we provide a consistent, high quality catering offer. Delivering a truly memorable customer experience takes real teamwork and a major part of the role will involve managing the team to ensure they are motivated and focused.

Assistant Manager

This role is perfect for a hands-on operator who's confident leading a large team, committed to excellent service, and ready to take ownership of day-to-day operations.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and inspiring a well-trained, motivated team to deliver exceptional service.
Managing rotas and staffing levels to ensure the cafe is always efficiently staffed within budget.
Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and hygiene for both staff and guests.
Maintaining a professional, welcoming environment for every customer.
Supporting food service, including soups, pies, quiches, and homemade cakes.
Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP, COSHH, EHO, etc.).
Communicating effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in hospitality management (cafe, restaurant, or similar setting).
Strong leadership and team management skills, including training and development.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
A flexible approach to working hours based on business needs.
A team player with high standards, good time management, and great personal presentation.
