Assistant Manager - Route One Sports Bar, Nottingham

We're now looking for a

hands-on Assistant Manager

to join our team and help drive our continued success.

About the Role

As Assistant Manager, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the venue, supporting the General Manager in all aspects of operations. Your focus will include:

Staff training & development

- leading by example and ensuring high service standards

Bar & cellar management

- overseeing stock control, product quality, and compliance

Cocktail service & presentation

- maintaining consistency and creativity in our drinks offer

Customer experience

- ensuring every guest leaves happy, from daytime diners to late-night partygoers

Operational excellence

- supporting shift management, rotas, and health & safety procedures

Social media & promotions

- helping to keep our events, offers, and nights buzzing online (experience here is a big plus!)

About You

We're looking for someone who's:

Experienced - at least

2 years in a similar Assistant Manager or Supervisor role

within a busy bar, pub, or late-night venue Confident, organised, and energetic Passionate about people, cocktails, and hospitality Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and late nights (we're open until 2am) Knowledgeable about cellar management and bar operations
Social media or marketing experience is a

strong advantage
