Job Description

Job Overview

Computer Assistance, a leading Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the heart of Oxford, is seeking a dynamic Assistant Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on driving sales and keeping things on track. You'll support our General Manager in boosting our client base while ensuring our team never misses a beat with their tasks. If you're passionate about IT services, love a bit of sales hustle, and have a knack for keeping people organized, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management Support: Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to grow our MSP client portfolio, targeting Oxford SMEs and beyond. Conduct follow-up calls and meetings with prospective clients, aiming to convert at least 10 leads per month. Collaborate with the sales team to prepare proposals and quotes, ensuring they reflect our value (e.g., managed IT services, cloud solutions). Track sales performance metrics (e.g., conversion rates, revenue growth) and report weekly to the General Manager. Task Management and Reminders: Implement a system (e.g., task management software like Trello or Microsoft To Do) to assign, monitor, and remind team members of deadlines and responsibilities. Conduct daily check-ins (15-30 minutes) to ensure technicians and support staff are on schedule with client projects and support tickets. Send proactive reminders (e.g., via email or Slack) for critical tasks, reducing missed deadlines by at least 20%. Step in to reassign tasks if someone falls behind, maintaining smooth operations. Team Support and Coordination: Act as a point of contact between the General Manager and technical staff, relaying priorities and feedback. Organize monthly team meetings to review progress, celebrate wins, and address challenges. Support onboarding new hires, ensuring they're equipped with task-tracking tools from day one. Client Relationship Building: Visit key clients (e.g., Oxford businesses) monthly to strengthen relationships and identify upsell opportunities. Handle initial client inquiries, ensuring a professional and responsive first impression.
Skills and Qualifications

Essential:

Proven experience in sales or customer-facing roles (1-2 years preferred), with a track record of meeting targets. Strong organizational skills, with experience using task management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to motivate teams and engage clients.
