We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring exceptional service and maintaining high standards in food preparation and safety. This position is perfect for individuals with a passion for the culinary arts and a desire to help lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring that all staff adhere to food safety and hygiene standards. Supervise front of house staff and bartenders, to ensure efficient service. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining areas. Train new staff on food safety practices, and customer service expectations. Collaborate with management to develop strategies for improving service quality and customer satisfaction. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring a positive dining experience. Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a collaborative atmosphere. Experience in bartending is an advantage but not essential. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to delivering high-quality service.
This position is Tuesday - Saturday, with Sunday and Monday days off, aswell as Tuesday until 17:00 and Wednesday until 17:00.
