What you'll be doing day to day

Manage a small portfolio of clients including high-net-worth individuals, non-resident, trusts, and estates
Deliver tailored Private Client tax advice and lead on advisory assignments
Collaborate with Partners, Directors, and Managers on new projects and client engagements
Prepare complex tax returns and review work completed by team members
Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
Handle client queries regarding tax matters, escalating planning or investigation issues as needed
Liaise directly with clients and HMRC to ensure outstanding service delivery
Uphold compliance standards and internal procedures, ensuring time recording and budget targets are met
Build strong relationships across departments to drive effective outcomes
Act as the first point of contact for straightforward client issues
Contribute to business development through networking and client engagement
Support billing, WIP, and debtor management processes
Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their development
About you

ATT/CTA qualified (or equivalent), or part-qualified with relevant experience
Private client tax experience in a public practice environment
Experience in using tax software and computer-based tax compilation programmes; plus MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
A proactive, organised individual who enjoys problem-solving and developing others
