to support the day-to-day running of our country pub with rooms. You'll work closely with the General Manager and owners, helping to lead the front-of-house team, deliver excellent guest experiences, and keep things running smoothly during service.
This is a hands-on role with a strong floor presence, and
most shifts will be evening-based

The role:
Run
mainly evening
shifts and support the GM in all areas of the operation
Take the lead on service standards, team motivation, and floor presence
Help train and develop junior team members
Support with rotas, stock control, opening/closing, and basic admin
Ensure everything runs cleanly, calmly, and professionally
You'll need:
Experience in a similar quality pub, restaurant, or hotel setting
A calm, practical style with good common sense
Strong floor presence and attention to detail
Willingness to pitch in and lead from the front
A genuine focus on guest satisfaction over gimmicks
