Responsibilities



Assist the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of pub operations, including team management, customer service, and food quality control. Supervise daily shift activities, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to service standards. Train, mentor, and develop team members in food preparation, customer service, and safety procedures to promote a high-performance culture. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting regular audits, and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishments. Oversee food handling practices to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across the kitchen and dining areas. Support kitchen management by supervising food production processes, ensuring consistency in food quality, and assisting with cooking when necessary. Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure guest satisfaction and foster positive relationships. Assist with budgeting tasks including labor costs, food costs, and operational expenses to maximize profitability. Participate in interviewing prospective staff members and contribute to their training & development programs. Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times. Support catering events, banquets, or special functions as needed to enhance the restaurant's offerings.

Experience



Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining environments. Demonstrated leadership skills with previous assistant manager or supervisory roles in hospitality or hotel settings. Experience managing inventory control, budgeting, staff training & development is essential. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle challenging situations professionally. Knowledge of kitchen management practices including food handling standards and health regulations. Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
