Assistant Manager - Electric Scooter & E-Bike Store (Springtown, Derry)

Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per year (depending on experience)

Assistant Manager

to help lead our busy electric scooter and e-bike store in Springtown, Derry.
This is a key position for someone who takes pride in responsibility, organisation and customer service -- someone who wants to grow with a fast-moving local business rather than just work another retail job.

About the Role

You'll take a leading role in the day-to-day running of the shop -- ensuring repairs are organised, customers are looked after, and everything runs smoothly.
You'll be trusted to open and close the shop, support mechanics, manage stock and parts orders, and help the business continue to grow profitably.

Main Responsibilities

Oversee the daily running of the shop and workshop Manage repair bookings, parts orders, and stock organisation Handle customer enquiries and service updates professionally in-store and online Create simple social media posts, promotions, and local outreach to grow visibility Ensure the shop is clean, organised, and well-presented at all times Support and supervise mechanics; help maintain an efficient workflow Take responsibility for opening/closing and general security when on duty Liaise with suppliers and the owner to track performance, costs and sales

Who We're Looking For

Intelligent, practical and mature -- able to think for themselves and take initiative Strong communication and organisational skills Confident dealing with customers and staff alike Calm under pressure and able to handle responsibility Ideally some experience in retail, service or mechanical environments Genuine interest in e-mobility, bikes, or technology is a plus, not essential
