Job Overview

We're looking for someone to join our Romsey branch and assist the Branch Manager with running the shop, taking responsibility for opening and closing on a Saturday and Sunday and assisting 1-3 days during the week. Our shops are a mix of retail and hospitality and previous experience is preferable. You need to have a passion for great customer service, we want to make everyone feel at home and build on our excellent reputation as an independent, eco-friendly brand.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all aspects of retail and hospitality operations, ensuring a high level of customer service. Oversee food preparation processes to guarantee compliance with food safety regulations. Help develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. Help manage team performance through effective training, mentoring, and performance evaluations. Maintain inventory control and ensure proper stock levels. Manage shop operations, implement a routine for opening and closing ensuring efficient functioning of the shop, managing the sales floor and providing maximum profitability. Establish security and safety measures that comply with health and safety regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or retail industry. An understanding of food safety standards. Demonstrated ability in team management. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Barista experience is a bonus but not essential.

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 19 - 29 per week
