The Wishing well restaurant and hotel are looking for a highly motivated and successful Assistant Manager who understands high volume restaurants and the importance of customer service as well as the budget hotel sector.

The key responsibilities are to achieve a high volume of sales, motivate and develop members of staff, maintain high quality standards and to be the market leader in the area.

The ideal candidate will have a proven record in achieving customer satisfaction, being passionate about food and service, delivering an excellent experience to every customer.

Staff Development:

You will be a great leader with a genuine passion for assisting with recruiting the right people & building a strong team alongside your general manager and focus on quality training and team development. You will have strong communication and influencing skills. You are able to coach your team to deliver excellent performance under the general managers guidance.
The Establishment:

The Wishingwell Restaurant and hotel is situated in the town of Selby. The restaurant is high volume and family orientated which seats 230 people. Above the restaurant is a 41 bed hotel and runs at 80-90% occupancy.

Our Requirements - Assistant Manager

An assistant manger who has had at least 1 years experience at this level Passionate about delivering excellent service and customer satisfaction Staff development and motivational skills. A hands on approach to work alongside your team during busy periods Back office experience including financial reporting and day to day admin. Some hotel experience is a bonus as some jobs may need to be done on the hotel side
