Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our cafe. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery
Supervise and motivate team members, including front-of-house and kitchen staff
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards
Ensure adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene practices across all departments
Support in training new staff members and conducting ongoing professional development
Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to optimise workflow and customer satisfaction
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control efficiently
Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to uphold excellent service standards
Assist in planning menus, special events, and promotional activities
Maintain a clean, organised work environment in accordance with health and safety policies
Experience
Proven supervisory experience within a coffee shop / cafe setting
Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production
Experience in managing teams effectively within fast-paced environments
Previous roles involving restaurant or hotel management are highly desirable
Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, including serving and barista experience is advantageous
Strong leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of service
