Responsibilities

Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth functioning of the restaurant or hospitality venue. Supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to foster a positive working environment. Ensure high standards of food preparation and presentation in accordance with food safety regulations. Manage inventory and assist with food production processes to maintain quality and efficiency. Train new employees on culinary techniques, serving procedures, and hospitality standards. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism to ensure guest satisfaction. Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational efficiency. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen areas in compliance with health regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential. Strong culinary experience with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is required. Previous experience in team management, demonstrating effective leadership skills. Background in serving or barista roles is advantageous, enhancing customer service capabilities. A passion for the hospitality industry, coupled with excellent communication skills, is vital for success in this position.
